Region VIII Medical Education Conference

This conference hopes to address the nuances contained in the continued awareness of racial, social and economic injustices within our communities; and examine the connotations of these nuances on our future practice of physicians and healthcare professionals.

Our conference will encompass key events that will include guest speakers, workshops, networking opportunities and plenty more.

Our goal for this conference is to actively carry out our national mission of supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students, address the needs of underserved communities, and increase the number of clinically, culturally, and socially competent physicians.
